Estación Biológica Las Brusquitas is owned, administered, and maintaned by Grupo de Investigación y Educación en Temas Ambientales (GrIETA). This is a non-profit organization (Reg. No. 32757, Buenos Aires province) funded in 2007 with the aim of increasing knowledge and public appreciation of nature and its  relationships to humans.
